The metric series have a 40° contact angle and a polyamide cage
The imperial series have a 20° contact angle and a machined brass cage

These single row angular-contact ball bearings can only accept axial loads in one direction. The bearings must therefore be mounted against a second angular-contact bearing or a conventional bearing.
